A Little Adventure

Due to some work being done on our apartment, we needed to stay in a hotel for a few days. What an adventure to say the least, there's nothing like sharing such a small confined space with so many active little ones.

Poor sweet Asher, here he is hanging out on the couch. Because he's so little, we didn't want to crowd the space with a pack and play, so we had the little guy sleep in his bouncer. What a good sport.

Johnny and Bela were thrilled to be sleeping on the magic bed that pulled out of the couch. They jumped around quite a bit before they finally settled down for the night.

I was very grateful no one rolled off in their sleep. And even more grateful to finally be able to go home.

Visiting Aunt Melinda

We finally came to visit Aunt Melinda at her house for the first time since Asher was born. She is an excellent hostess, and was very patient with all the kids' excitement.

She's also very good at taking care of Asher

The kids loved playing outside with the sprinkler. Someday we'll have our own backyard, but until then, thanks for letting us enjoy yours Aunt Melinda!

Helpful Boys

My two guys are so helpful with taking care of baby Asher

Johnny is such a pro at helping out with his brother

And while at a friend's house, Brad made sure that Asher was able to watch the football game. He's excellent at training his kids who to root for from a young age.

Thanksgiving Point

We promised the kids all of August that we'd take them up to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point. So of course on the last $2 Tuesday we finally made it up there.

The kids had a blast taking a pony ride

Bela kept saying "No, moo cow!" when she thought it was getting too close for comfort

These chickens had the longest feathers on their feet

It was a fun family night and even Asher seemed to enjoy getting out.

They Love Him So Much

I cannot set this kid down for even a second before his big brother and sister are running over to be with him. They love this little guy so much!

Boondocks

Brad's company had their summer family party at Boondocks this year. I didn't feel like it was the best place to take a 4 week old, so Bela and I stayed home while Brad and Johnny partied hard.

They ate a fun dinner

Got soaked on the bumper boats

Played some fun games

Raced around on the go-carts

And even braved the "scary guy" on a 3-d movie ride

These two had so much fun and even earned enough tickets to come home with a barrel of monkeys.

Stylish

This sweet girl makes me so happy. I love it when she mixes and matches her jammies, and especially when she adds a fireman hat to pretty much every ensemble.
