Tulips and Fish

Our walk downtown led us down to Pike Place

I love seeing the fresh flowers, and since the tulips just came into bloom, there were about a million of them everywhere

Brad's favorite: fish

My personal favorite: random street performers. This guy was playing the guitar, while hula hooping, playing the harmonica, and balancing another guitar on his chin. Now if that isn't talent, I don't know what is.

Love Them

While visiting home, Fran asked me to help paint my niece Emma's room. We started working on it Friday night, and once it got late Brad took Johnny back to my parents' house to put him to bed. Apparently Johnny woke up and was "inconsolable", crying for mom. I came home right away, Johnny calmed down, I left the room for literally two minutes and came back to this:

So much for just wanting mom. Even after I picked Johnny up to lay him down to sleep, he woke up in my arms, got down and jumped right back up on the couch with his dad. I love how much he loves his dad. And hey, I don't blame him, I sure like falling asleep next to his dad too.
