I just love these two. And nothing makes me happier than knowing that they love each other.

Spring Has Sprung!
Reunited And It Feels So Good
Yesterday I got to see my good friend and former roommate Jennie Wanamaker Wilde. I love her, and her two beautiful girls. They were in town visiting from Boston, and were kind enough to let us come over and play. Johnny loved it. He even loved Ricky the dog, except when he came too close. I probably should have taken pictures while the kids were playing instead of waiting until we were leaving, because of course no one wanted to sit still. Except of course the two beautiful Isabellas:
Beautiful Bella being not so pleased with Johnny getting too close to Rory.
Pretty sure Johnny would have been more than happy taking Rory home with him.
We love you Wilde family, and hope to see you again soon!

Half-Birthday
Our sweet baby girl turned six months old today!

She is beautiful and has brought us so much more joy in these last six months than we could have imagined. I love hearing Johnny say, "Sister, kiss," and that he smothers her with love. I love the adorable sounds, laughter, and squeals she shares constantly. I love how she lights up when her dad walks into the room, and most of all I love holding her in my arms.
We love you Isabela!

More Delicious
Today I made Johnny pancakes. This was the first time I made them for him since last week when he dumped out the ENTIRE bowl full of batter on the living room floor. Such a good little helper. Thanks to that experience, I stood at the stove flipping those pancakes while holding Bela until they were all cooked. Johnny was shoveling those pancakes in his mouth like there was no tomorrow, and kept running back into the kitchen with his plate saying, "More, more."
After handing him his FIFTH pancake, I finally finished cooking them all, and headed into the living room to join Johnny. When I walked in, I found Johnny eating his pancake in a new place:

Apparently it's more delicious eating it up in the window sill, staring out at the beautiful window well. Of course once I brought the camera out he was all the more pleased with himself. I love this kid.
